How do you create the perfect kitchen?

We think it’s by doing what we do best, every day!

We recently had the pleasure of creating a kitchen for a £2 million detached property. The brief was simple:

A wow-factor kitchen that made a real statement as people walked in.

To do this, we had to tick every box of the ‘kitchen must-have’ list, and so I wanted to share it with you.

Timeless Kitchen Design

We used the Christopher Mark Belgravia kitchen range in Dust Grey and XXX, teamed with a Carrara quartz worktop in white.

The in-frame style of this kitchen design is a fusion of contemporary and traditional, with a truly luxurious feel.

These neutral but contrasting colours combined with the details of natural materials such as solid oak and glass create a kitchen that will stay not just in fashion but will also look fresh and new for a long time to come.

Social Vibe

This client had the luxury of space, so going with an open plan kitchen design was a must.

Blurring lines between rooms not only adds value to a property, but also makes your life easier on a day-to-day basis.

It sounds dramatic, but when you create a space that is open, social and inviting, you’ll naturally gravitate there as a family.

You can encourage this with cool and casual seating like a breakfast bar, or corner snug. In this project, a breakfast bar facing the kitchen has transformed how they use this area.

All the mod-cons

As the old saying goes ‘the bigger, the better’ and this is sometimes true of kitchen appliances too.

We used appliances from premium manufacturer Fisher & Paykel, including a magnificent 120cm wide, double oven range cooker that fits the blend of old and new, but also gives ample cooking space for when the owner entertains.

The final touches of a large double American fridge freezer, wine fridge and Quooker boiling water tap make this kitchen really stand out from the crowd.
